1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the ZynkUp app ("the Service"), you accept these terms. The Service is provided by Bhan AS, Norway. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
ZynkUp is a social calendar app that lets you bring events, friends, and messaging together in one place. Features may change, be added, or removed over time.
Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available in the app and on the website.
3. Age Requirement and Age Verification
The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years old.
ZynkUp allows event creators to set age restrictions on events (e.g., 18+). To enforce these restrictions and ensure only eligible users gain access, we require your date of birth at registration. Your date of birth is used solely for age verification and content personalisation — never for marketing purposes or shared with third parties without your consent.
4. Right of Withdrawal
If you sign up for a paid service through the app, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven). The withdrawal period begins on the day you enter into the agreement. To exercise your right, contact us at support@zynkup.no.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
5. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
6. User-Generated Content and Content Moderation
You retain the rights to content you create through the Service, including events and messages. By posting content, you grant Bhan AS a limited, non-exclusive license to display and distribute the content as part of the Service.
You are responsible for all content you post and must ensure it does not infringe on the rights of others or violate these terms.
Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content
ZynkUp has a zero-tolerance policy for offensive, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content, as well as harassment and abuse of other users. Violations may result in immediate content removal and account suspension.
Child Safety
ZynkUp strictly prohibits child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, child trafficking, and any content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers minors. Violations will result in immediate account termination and will be reported to law enforcement and relevant child safety authorities, including Kripos (Norway's National Criminal Investigation Service), in accordance with applicable law.

Flagging Objectionable Content
If you encounter content that violates these terms, you can report it using the reporting feature in the app or by emailing support@zynkup.no. We review all reports and remove violations within 24 hours.
Blocking Abusive Users
You can block other users directly from their profile in the app. The blocked user will immediately disappear from your feed and will no longer be able to view your profile or content. Blocks associated with reported abuse are automatically flagged to us, and we will consider further action including account suspension.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws. You shall not:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Post offensive, hateful, or illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Use the Service for spam, fraud, or deceptive activities
- Manipulate or interfere with the Service's functionality
8. Intellectual Property
The ZynkUp app, including its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding user-generated content), belongs to Bhan AS. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
9. Availability and Defects
We strive to keep the Service available and functioning as described, but cannot guarantee that the Service will always be available without interruption or errors. Your rights in the event of defects in digital services are governed by the Norwegian Digital Services Act (digitalytelsesloven). These terms do not limit rights you have under Norwegian consumer protection law.
10. Limitation of Liability
Bhan AS is liable for losses caused by faults or defects we are responsible for, in accordance with Norwegian law. We are not liable for indirect losses unless the loss is caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part. These terms do not limit your mandatory rights under consumer protection legislation.
11. Suspension and Account Closure
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you violate these terms, specifically:
- Repeated violations of the acceptable use rules (§7)
- Use of the Service for illegal activity
- Actions that harm other users or the integrity of the Service
In the event of account closure, you will receive written notice with a justification by email. You have the right to appeal the decision by contacting us at support@zynkup.no within 30 days. Any prepaid amounts for unused periods will be refunded.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable legislation. For material changes, you will be notified at least 7 days in advance via email or in the app. If you do not accept the new terms, you may terminate your account free of charge before the changes take effect.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by Norwegian courts, with Oslo District Court as the legal venue.
You may also file a complaint with the Norwegian Consumer Authority or use the EU's online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
